Resources

Spiritual practices that complement your chart.

Vedic tradition pairs astrological insight with practice. These are starting points — not prescriptions — to deepen the daily reading.

Where to start

Four foundations.

Sandhya — twilight practice

Five quiet minutes at sunrise and sunset. Sit, breathe, observe. The 'in-between' hours are when the mind is most receptive to subtle shifts.

Mantra for your ruling planet

Each planet has a traditional bija mantra. Chanting 108 times in a single sitting is the classical count. Your daily reading suggests one when relevant.

Fasting on planetary days

Monday for Moon, Tuesday for Mars, Thursday for Jupiter, Saturday for Saturn. A simple fruits-and-water fast is the traditional form.

Daan — giving as remedy

A weak or troubled planet in your chart can be supported by donating objects associated with that planet — e.g., black sesame for Saturn.

Weekly rhythm

The remedy toolkit

Categories of Vedic remedies.

Mantra (sound)

Each planet has a bija (seed) mantra. The traditional count is 108 repetitions, done in a single sitting, ideally on the planet's day at sunrise.

Daan (giving)

Donate items associated with the planet you want to support — sesame for Saturn, jaggery for Sun, milk for Moon. The act of letting go matters more than the object.

Gemstones (with care)

Stones can amplify a planet's effects — for better or worse. Never wear one without a proper chart reading. A wrong gemstone is worse than no gemstone.

Homa / havan

Fire rituals dedicated to specific planets, traditionally performed by a priest. Effective but resource-intensive — reserve for major life thresholds.

Cautions

Things to be careful about.

Don't wear gemstones without a chart reading.

A "lucky" gem for one chart can amplify difficult planets in another. Always consult before purchasing.

Don't treat fasting as a quick fix.

Traditional fasts are meant to build discipline and devotion over time. They are not a transactional bribe to the universe.

Don't bypass medical or mental-health care.

Practices supplement professional care. They are not replacements. If you're struggling, please talk to a doctor or therapist.

Be wary of anyone selling expensive remedies.

Most authentic remedies cost very little or nothing — a mantra is free, a small donation is small. Expensive "must-have" remedies are usually a red flag.

The most powerful remedy is sustained attention. A five-minute daily practice for a year does more than an expensive ritual done once.
